History and Purpose

The Slaight Family Foundation created the Ada Slaight Scholarships, in honour of Ada Slaight in 2012. The fund is one of the largest philanthropic gifts for student scholarships in OCAD University’s 135-year history. The gift provides fifteen full time students the opportunity to receive scholarship funding for the duration of their four year degree program.
